This purchase, for me, was an investment. I have been slowly switching out all my “spandexy” clothing made with polyester for natural fibers, a real feat in a 4-season climate, for the past 2 years. I had been thinking about trying merino wool underwear for about a year, but other things prevailed. Somehow I got onto Woolly’s website about 2 months ago, there was a sale, I was intrigued. I am a female and my preference is for a boxer brief or a thong. During this sale I purchased 3 pairs of underwear: 2 boxer briefs and 1 thong. I have an “apple” figure and after reading reviews chose my sizes. I should have downsized 2 sizes for the boxer brief but I did size down one size in both cases. In the thongs case, one size down was perfect. It’s hard to explain how much I love these underwear but let me say they are moisture wicking, tagless(!), and they stay in place all day long. They are SO comfortable and breathable. not hot - at all. Which is unexpected information when I tell my friends about them because I have found that unless you wear wool in all seasons (we live in 4-season NorthEast USA), you only think of it as being warming as opposed to being breathable and wicking. I’ve been using merino wool for years and love how it’s really an all-season material, which also comes in different weights for warmth/cooling. Because this is an investment for me, I am handwashing and hanging to dry, however, the underwear have already been tossed into cotton laundry bags (a must…
