I am a 62 year old who hikes regularily. I am more comfortable in a high waisted brief than in hip or bikini styles. These briefs are extremely comfortable around my large thighs, wear for multiple days in a row and allow me to hand wash and quickly dry. I purchased the deep plum color. I will purchase additional pairs.

And I’m not exaggerating. I’m stunned at how gorgeously comfortable these are! They breathe like a dream. The fabric is delicate enough to be sexy and not at all “feel” like it could possibly be wool, but it still a very stable and tightly woven fabric. They’re extremely well-made, hold up after washing and drying, stretch around your curves like magic, never squeezing but still feeling like a beautiful, gentle kiss of a hug on the body. They’re flattering, sexy and timeless. I originally bought two pair, them immediately came and ordered 8 more. They’re fantastic in every way you want them to be.

I love these Woolly briefs. I’ve tried merino underwear from several different brands in my quest to move away from synthetics, and these are the ones I’ve settled on. They are really comfortable, and have mildly elasticized waist and leg openings that don’t pinch or leave marks. If you’re on the cusp of 2 different sizes, you can probably go with the smaller one, which was my decision after trying both sizes. Now I find myself returning to the Woolly website so I can replace my undie collection with a natural fiber underwear that is quick drying, moisture wicking, and nonstinky.
